Waterfall Garden | Woodley Park
This small Woodley Park garden was chopped into awkward flat terraces held back by failing timber walls - the patio at the base felt cramped and disconnected.
The redesign sweeps that rigidity away, centering the space on a generous circular bluestone patio. A curved stone waterfall cascades down stacked ledges into a stone basin with a built-in seating edge, creating movement and sound throughout the garden. Winding stone stairs connect to the upper parking area. The planting beds were subtly regraded to pull views down from the house, and a see-through fence along the top opens sightlines beyond the lot line - making the compact garden feel less boxed in.
